Shunichi Hatada, 95, of Hilo died Aug. 31 2015 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was the retired president of the former Hatada and Robert’s bakeries, a U.S. Army 442nd Infantry Regiment and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 26) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by sons, Wesley (Gayle) Hatada of Hilo and Maurice Hatada of Honolulu; daughter, Frances (Glenn) Sadayasu of Hilo; brothers, Kengo Hatada of Hilo and George (Lorraine) Hatada of California; sister, Betty (Stan) Hirota of Oregon; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Florence “Flo” Medeiros, 86, of Hilo died Aug. 19 at home. Born in Honalo, Kona, she was a retired co-proprietress of Aloha Mart, former supervisor at Orchids of Hawaii and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by son, Ernest Mahi (Lori) Medeiros of Hilo; daughters, Claudia (David) Calles and Trudy (Steven) Guillermo; sister-in-law, Lucille Chung of Hilo; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Lois Helen Zimmermann, 90, of Hilo died Sept, 12, 2015 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Endicott, N.Y., she was a medical bookkeeper for several doctors’ offices, member of Hilo United Methodist Church and volunteer at the Hilo SeniorNet Learning Center and Hilo United Methodist Church Peanut Butter Ministry. Private services. No koden (monetary gifts). Memorial donations to Hospice of Hilo. Survived by sons, Lawrence “Larry” (Kathleen) Zimmermann of Londonderry, N.H., Charles “Chuck” (Ledy) Zimmermann of Waikoloa and Alfred “Butch” (Melanie) J. Zimmermann II of Rockwall, Texas; daughters, Linda S.
